A vanity plate price comparison site: listings in one place, a free calculator for the market median of comparable plates, and Thai and Chinese number meanings.
Last updated 3 October 2026
We built this website because finding a vanity plate in Thailand is still harder than it should be. Listings are scattered across dozens of pages, LINE groups and web forums. You see a single price with nothing to compare it against to judge whether it is reasonable, and when you want to know what the number you are about to pay hundreds of thousands of baht for means in the traditional texts, you have to look it up on several more pages.
So we bring three things together in one place: real listings with the asking price the seller set and the date we last checked, the market median of a group of comparable plates that tells you how far above or below its peers a price sits, and an auspiciousness calculator that explains where every point of the score comes from.
We are an information intermediary. We are not a seller, not a government agency, not an auctioneer, and we do not hold any of the plate numbers shown on this website. What we do is collect publicly published listings, make them searchable and comparable, and introduce you to the seller when you are interested in a particular plate. From that point on, negotiation, payment and transfer are directly between you and the seller.
Vanity plate numbers that are auction plates are issued by the Department of Land Transport (DLT) through public auctions, while ordinary plates come from regular sequential registration. Both kinds can change hands on the secondary market in line with government regulations. This secondary market is what we monitor and record prices for, while the official steps must still be filed at a land transport office as usual.
The price you see is the asking price the seller set in the listing, exactly as we collected it. We do not add a service fee on top, we do not round the figure, and we do not hide who posted the listing. Every item shows the date we found that price, so you know how fresh the information is before you rely on it.
An asking price is not the price at which plates actually change hands. Prices actually agreed on the secondary market and the prices dealers pay to buy plates are usually lower because of negotiation, but those figures are not published, so we neither show nor estimate them. DLT auction results are public information, and we show what we have been able to collect separately from asking prices. What we can give you is a benchmark for comparison, the market median of similar plates, which lets you open the conversation with the seller with a reference figure in hand.
What is not included in the price shown: government fees for the transfer and for issuing new plates, a document handling fee if the seller charges one, and delivery costs. These are each seller's own terms, and you should always ask for an itemised breakdown before agreeing.
The market median is the median of asking prices within a group of comparable plates. We use the median rather than the average because plates priced in the tens of millions of baht really do exist and would skew the average for the whole group. The same plate appearing in several listings is counted as a single price, and listings that do not state a price are not counted in the statistics at all.
The comparison group starts with plates of the same number in the same market across all series, then adjusts each plate's price to be equivalent to the series of the plate you are viewing, because the letter series is the biggest price factor for the same number. The adjustment ratios are derived from real asking prices of the same number in different series. If there is no plate with this number in the same market yet, we move on to plates with the same number pattern and the same number of digits. If no group has enough samples to meet the threshold, we do not judge whether the price is cheap or expensive, because a conclusion drawn from just a few plates does not carry enough weight.
This website's price calculator is free to use and does only one job, comparing asking prices. It therefore does not deduct a liquidity discount, does not check the plate's legal status, and does not add to or subtract from the price based on the numerology digit sum. These steps are explained in the article on how to value a license plate in 7 steps.
The details of the thresholds, including the minimum number of samples and the range still considered to be at the market median, are shown along with the values actually in use on the page about our calculations. These values can be adjusted, and we record every adjustment.
The analysis of what numbers mean on this website is written by our content team, with reference to the numerology and Taksa (Thai astrological system) texts widely used in Thailand, together with the Chinese cultural tradition of numbers that sound like other words. All value tables are kept separate from the program and carry a version number. You can read the details on the page about our calculations.
We hold ourselves to two rules. The first is that we do not claim results that cannot be guaranteed, such as saying you will certainly become rich if you buy this number. The second is that we do not use fear as a sales tool, such as warning that something bad will happen if you do not change your plate. Beliefs should help you choose with peace of mind, not frighten you into paying in a hurry.
We do not accept payment for plates under any circumstances, because we are not a party to the sale. If someone contacts you using this website's name and asks you to transfer money into an account, stop and tell us immediately.
We do not sell positions in the listings. The order you see comes from the sorting criteria you choose yourself, and we do not hide cheaper listings from the results. If we did, the market median we calculate would be meaningless.
We do not store the birth date you enter in the calculator. The values you enter are processed and then discarded; they are not saved to a database or linked to your identity. We also do not sell or exchange users' contact details with third parties for marketing.
If you find a price that does not match the listing, a status that does not reflect reality, or a number meaning you think departs from the texts you follow, tell us through the channels on the Contact us page. We correct it and keep a record of the change so it can be checked.
We take feedback on the beliefs content seriously, because the texts of different schools differ in the details, and we want the tables used on this website to go through more than one round of review.
We are a price comparison site. We do not own or sell any plate. The prices shown are the sellers' asking prices, recorded with the date we last checked. We earn by introducing buyers to sellers and add nothing to the price you see.
The market median is the median asking price across the comparable plates we have collected. It is not an actual sale price, which is usually lower because of negotiation and liquidity. We only show it when the comparison group has enough listings, so plates without enough comparables have no market median.
